Arena Civic Theatre’s 40th Anniversary Gala

On June 12, Arena Civic Theatre will hold its 40th Anniversary Gala at the

Moose Club 20 School St Greenfield, MA

The semi-formal event will provide a buffet dinner with a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes, desert, a cash bar and a musical presentation of various show tunes spanning our 40 years of performance in Franklin County.

Amy Roberts-Crawford is musical director for ACT veteran performers Martha King-Devine, Jerry Marcanio, Alana Martineau, Dawn Mayo, Dave Peck, Keleigh Pereira, and Steve Woodard. Song selections will include numbers from shows such as “Annie Get Your Gun,” “Cabaret,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “King and I,” “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Godspell,” “Oklahoma,” “Oliver,” “Sound of Music,” “Wizard of Oz,” and others.

Arena Civic Theatre was founded by Ann Christern in 1970, with its first production “The Front Page.” We performed at the Roundhouse at the Franklin County Fairgrounds for more than a decade. After a period of utilizing various performance spaces, ACT became a resident company at The Shea Theater in Turners Falls in 1990, where we remain today. Over forty years, we have produced 178 shows, and have won multiple awards at Community Theatre Association competitions. It is estimated that more than 2500 people have worked with the company as performers, staff and technical crew.

The Gala event will begin at 5:30 PM with cocktails, followed by dinner at 6:00 and the musical performance at 7:00.

Tickets are $30.00 each, are limited, and need to be purchased in advance.
They may be obtained from any ACT Board member or through safe and secure Paypal buy now button below.
